~Tasha Balzer~
YOAKUM: Tasha Rebecca Balzer, 43, completed her work on earth on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born March 22, 1981 in Yoakum to Dan and Judy (Zissa) Balzer. Tasha was a “special” child born with Downs, to a family that loved her dearly. She liked movies, country music, Christmas, swimming and the Victoria Crossroads Country Opry. She was kind, gentle, sweet, generous, caring and a very loving person. She may have been born to “teach” everyone to be more like her. When God saw that Tasha had shared all her good traits with us, she left this world to join her heavenly family. We will miss her. Survivors are her Mom and Dad, Dan and Judy Balzer of Yoakum; sister, Brandi Noack (Buddy) of Sealy; brothers, Grant Balzer (Andrea) of Platte City, Missouri and Neal Balzer (Joanna) of Boerne; 4 nieces and 2 nephews; 6 cousins; special Aunts, Diane Glomb, Virgi Ferrell and Charlotte Littlejohn; family friend, Bill Sandelovic. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Leslie and Genevieve Balzer and Edward and Cecilia Zissa. Visitation 4 to 6 p.m., with Rosary recited at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Service 2 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home with Deacon Dennis Kutach officiating. She will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Catholic Mausoleum.
