~Olga V. Carmona~

YOAKUM: Olga V. Carmona (Ms. Olga), 69, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 with her daughter and sister at her side. She was born August 17, 1955, in Yoakum to Daniel Garcia and Eva Rocha Garcia. 

Olga was a loving and strong mother, grandma, great-grandma, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed dearly.  In her early years she worked for Circle Y, Stevens Nursing Home and Cali’s.  In her later years of life, she always enjoyed the daily calls for the “hot gossip” and the time she spent with her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law.  She spent a lot of time with her two favorite grand pups, Dixie and Ella Carmona (of course “Carmona”), she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Survivors: loving sons Miguel V. Carmona, III, Jake Robert Banegas and wife Simone’, loving and devoted daughter San Juanita, Carmona, and devoted son-in-law Johnny Ray Perez; step-children, Troy Banegas (Sandra), Kimberly Rodriquez (Chris), Delores Ringo (William); granddaughters, Vivika Franetich, Catarina Samuel (Sean), Desiree D. Garza, and Kenyana Banegas; great grandchildren, Kiyah Beltran, Kiyelle, Kiyson and Kiyler Samuel; sisters, Adella Gonzales, Mary Villarreal; brothers, Leroy Vasquez and Samuel Garcia.

Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Jesse Garcia, Daniel Garcia, Jose Vasquez, Juan Manuel Vasquez; infant brother, Abel Garcia and her love, Jacinto Banegas.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Norma Jean Carmona Maddox officiating.
