~Ashley Hebert~

HALLETTSVILLE: Ashley Elizabeth Hebert, 36, gained her angel wings, Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was the “golden child” born April 11, 1988  to Marla Broussard Michalcik, the first grandchild born to the Don and Wanda Broussard family. The Broussard family helped raise Ashley to become a bright ray of sunshine with a wild adventure for life.

Ashley became a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, and absolutely best mom ever to three great kids, Kyley, Kloey and Kaleb. She had a zest for life and would do anything for friends and family. She loved to watch her kids play sports and would take hundreds of picture at every game. She was employed by Yoakum ISD with the DeWitt-Lavaca Ed Co-Op and had a soft spot in her heart for all the special needs children she taught. She was always up for an adventure, especially to the coast to go fishing.

Survivors are her mother, Marla Michalcik of Hallettsville; her children, Kyley, Kloey and Kaleb Hebert (pronounced A-Bear); sister, Sarah Patek (Anthony Jr.) of Hallettsville and nephew, Hunter; boyfriend, Jimmie Wright of Yoakum;  grandmother, Wanda Broussard of Hallettsville; Uncles, Ron Broussard (Diane) of Yoakum and Lance Broussard (Theresa) of Brownwood; Aunt Cheryl Jones (Keith) of Castroville; numerous cousins and extended family.

Preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Don Broussard.
