~Paul Ivicic~
YOAKUM: Paul Anthony Ivicic, 63, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. He was born January 31, 1961 in Houston, TX to Elton John and Vesta Lee Ivicic (Simek). He graduated from Aransas Pass High School and went on to earn an engineering degree from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas University). He was on the Dean's List each year. He was offered five football scholarships from five different schools. Paul was employed as an engineer by Entex Gas Company for over two decades. He loved to hunt, fish and golf and was known by everyone as a "sportsman". He had a smile that lit up the room and will be remembered by everyone for that. Paul's best friend was his beloved white Lab, "Moose". He loved his granddaughters Emerson and Demi dearly, his cattle and heavy metal rock and roll music. Paul's favorite food was BBQ and he was his daughter Brittani's hero. He fought until the end. Survivors are his daughter Brittani Richter (Derick); his granddaughters Emerson and Demi; two nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Britt Lee Ivicic and Stanley John Ivicic.
