YOAKUM: James "Jim" William Moore, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was born July 1, 1943 in Yoakum to James Edward and Elizabeth Kubena Moore. He worked for Leland Tucker on his ranch then spent many years working at Circle Y. He enjoyed fixing up old Ford and John Deere tractors along with working on a farm. Survivors: sister, Doris Hairell; brother, Bobby Moore; nieces, Susan Moore and Lynette Kotzebue; nephews, Robert Moore, Dennis Moore, James Hairell, Jr. and Richard Hairell along with great nieces & great nephews Preceded in death by: parents; sister-in-law, Rosie Moore and a brother-in-law, James Hairell. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Alsen Wenzel officiating. Burial Yoakum Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Greyson Aschen, James Hairell, Jr., Larry Lehnert, Cole Moore, Dennis Moore and Robert Moore.
