HALLETTSVILLE: Beatrice Ann Dornak McNabb, age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1948 in Hallettsville, Texas to the late August C. and Agnes Rainosek Dornak. She grew up with a deep appreciation for her heritage and spent her life cultivating a home filled with love, laughter and lasting memories. A woman of profound grace and a radiant smile that could light up any room. Beatrice lived a life defined by her devotion to her faith, family and community. She was a member of the KJZT. On October 2, 1968, she married the love of her life, Alvin Julius “Jack” McNabb, Jr., in Houston, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on family and faith. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Survived by her loving children, Julie Dupre of Austin, Bridget Innocenti of Hallettsville, James McNabb and wife Kim of Liberty Hill, Shaun McNabb of Liberty Hill and Joshua McNabb and wife Anna of Hallettsville; sister, Rita Kurtz; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents; brother, Raymond Dornak Beatrice’s legacy of kindness and strength lives on through her fifteen grandchildren: Britney McNabb, Daryane McNabb, Karrigan McNabb, Tristan Dupre, Scarlett Dupre, Elizabeth McNabb, Brayden McNabb, Korbin McNabb, Aislynd McNabb, Lydia McNabb, Blaise McNabb, Eden McNabb, Alvin McNabb, III, Anastasia Innocenti and David Innocenti; great-grandchildren, Julius, Asher, Brynlee, Addison and Parker. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., followed by Rosary at 7 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. A Funeral Service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Koerth Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made for mass in her honor.
